🌸 Goodies with Gals at ESC Preschool! 🌸

Our ESC Preschool students enjoyed another heartwarming family event with Goodies with Gals on Friday, May 8—and it was a wonderful success! 💕

Students shared a tasty pastry treat and juice with their moms while coloring a special picture together. They then listened to a sweet Mother’s Day story before surprising their moms with a heartfelt gift—the beautiful flowers they planted during their visit to the high school. 🌼💖

It was a lovely celebration of the important women in our students’ lives and a perfect way to honor Mother’s Day! Thank you to all the moms and special gals who joined us!

Last night was a great celebration of student talent and hard work! 🎶🎨🔨

We had the opportunity to showcase artwork, Industrial Tech and FCS projects, enjoy a Ukulele concert, and hear our choir students perform in their final concert of the year.

Our students have put in a tremendous amount of time and energy into these performances and projects. Being able to share their work with the public is always special and provides a meaningful way for families to connect with what their students are learning and creating at school.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our students and congratulations to all of them on a job well done!

🚍🌸 What an unforgettable Field Trip for our East Sac County Preschoolers! 🌸🛠️

Last week, our preschool students took a fun-filled field trip to the ESC High School — and the excitement was off the charts! From the moment they arrived, our little Raiders were greeted by friendly high school students ready to guide them through a morning packed with hands-on activities and big smiles.

🌼 Flower Potting for Mother’s Day
With help from Mrs. Hoefling’s Agriculture students, preschoolers planted a special flower to take home to their moms in celebration of Mother’s Day. Such sweet keepsakes!

🛠️ Building Their Very Own Step Stool
Thanks to Mr. McCollough’s Industrial Technology students, each preschooler had the chance to build a small step stool to take home. Our older Raiders were incredible mentors—patient, encouraging, and proud to teach new skills.

🎉 3D-Printed Raider Heads
Students even received their very own 3D-printed Raider Head—a favorite souvenir of the day!

💛 The excitement and joy from our preschoolers was contagious and served as a wonderful reminder to our high school students that school can (and should!) be FUN. Big Raiders teaching Little Raiders created memories we won’t soon forget.

🚌 And for some of our preschoolers, it was their very first ride on a big yellow school bus, adding an extra layer of adventure to an already amazing day!

What a fantastic experience for everyone involved. Raider pride starts early, and moments like these make it shine even brighter! ❤️🖤

On Thursday, May 7, our 6th grade students had the opportunity to attend the Annual Sac County Conservation Day at Hagge Park! Students explored a variety of hands-on learning stations focused on prairie grasses, insects, tree species, farming practices, and electrical safety — and of course, their favorite activity was fishing! It was a fun and educational day filled with learning, exploration, and outdoor adventure.
