Post Season Basketball starts tonight! The East Sac County Raiders will host Missouri Valley at HOME with the game starting at 7:00 PM. Please come cheer on the Raiders!!! This morning, all elementary dads were invited to join us for High Five Friday and we had a HUGE group show up! The entryway was packed with familiar faces as students entered the building! What a great start to the day!

Basic construction did a phenomenal job putting in shelves in Mrs. Erpelding's cabinet! Brooks, Zach and Calvin were precise, completed the project in a timely manner and very accurate in their measuring and installing! Thanks again guys, this will help keep that cabinet better organized!

Congratulations to East Sac County Students Of The Month for the month of January! Elementary students are recognized for consistently following Raider expectations, putting forth their best effort, and being a difference maker within the school. Congratulations to the following students: Preschool: Livienne Schroeder and Emily Fertig; Kindergarten: Lincoln Meyer, Serenity Pope and Lilli Kies; First Grade: Charlie Miller, Henry Baumhover and Toby Dougherty; Second Grade: Weston Buse, Ellie Mitchell and Kyler Barthman; Third Grade: Abi Leners, Makaylon Graff and Lucy Herrig; Fourth Grade: Harper Hemiller and McKenna Schroeder; Fifth Grade: Kelsey Bloyer and Bennett Swenson; Sixth Grade: Kirk Harman and Paisley Petersen. Junior High and High School students have been nominated and selected by staff for many reasons. Criteria can include being a role model for others, showing kindness, doing well academically, working to the best of their ability or having a positive attitude. We appreciate your hard work and dedication to being a positive role model in our school!!

Wow!! Raider Recycling would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to the Raider community!! Because of your generous donations we handed out over 100 shirts to students last week! At our Snowcoming pep rallies last Friday, all of our students were able to show their Raider pride! In total, 324 Raider clothing items were donated to hand out! The remaining shirts will be kept to use in the future to continue to ensure ALL students can proudly wear Raider gear throughout the years! What a GREAT community we have supporting our students! Go Raiders! A big THANK YOU goes out to Mrs. Brotherton and Mrs. Peters for starting and organizing this initiative and to everyone who help donate items!

February 3rd - 7th 2025 is National School Counseling Week. The students and parents of East Sac County are very lucky to have these three dedicated ladies as our school counselors. From picking classes, planning for college, working though stressful or sad times, teaching guidance, working through problems with friends or family, or just being there for students when others can't be, these school counselors are there for our students day and night. This morning we celebrated Snowcoming with our High School Raider athletes and Student Council members!! Juniors and seniors from the basketball teams, wrestling teams, wrestling cheerleaders and Student Council members greeted students for High Five Friday! Then students kicked off the day with a pep rally in the gym where they got to hear from high school coaches talk about their athletes, seasons and getting involved in all different activities when they get older. Elementary students who participate in wrestling and basketball were recognized followed by a cheer led by the wrestling cheerleaders! Go Raiders!!
