For the first time since at least 2017, East Sac County is elated to report that BOTH East Sac County school buildings have earned a “COMMENDABLE” rating from the Iowa Department of Education for our academic performance during the 2024-2025 school year!
In addition to this, we are proud to show East Sac County’s ISASP growth when compared to the state average from the 2022-23 school year to the 2024-25 school year. Today, East Sac County 5th grade students in Mrs. Schroeder's Social Studies class had the opportunity to have our former representative in the U.S. House of Representatives, Steve King, visit to discuss The Declaration of Independence and The Constitution this morning. He was able to shine light on his duties in the Legislative Branch and also discussed the Executive and Judicial Branches. He had many interesting stories to share about areas around the world that he has also visited.
