In Personal Finance students learned all about careers from how to pick a career that is right for them, filling out applications, completing resumes, writing a cover letter, interviewing, and writing a thank you letter. In the following pictures students are shown completing their mock interviews. Students were to apply to an open sales associate position and interview for that same position. In order to make the process as real world as possible students interviewed each other while the other students in the classroom critiqued their interviews by writing positive aspects and things that need to be improved within the interview process. Students were to dress up and were graded on appearance, first impressions, interview content, interview technique/skills, and their closing. Students then were required to write a reflection about their interview. This was a great experience for the students; they were able to sit through an interview and get some real world experience before actually interviewing outside of school.

Check out this nice letter we received the Cleveland Public School in regards to the blizzard and our assistance with providing a bus and driver to ensure their students were safe. This was a community effort and we were happy to assist! We appreciate the letter!

Last Friday before Spring Break, our elementary students reached their 3rd quarter PBIS goal earning them an afternoon of fun! All students packed the gym to watch their very own high school basketball experience. The afternoon started off with cheerleaders leading the students in cheers, listening to the pep band, watching the high school girl's basketball team play, a performance by the drill team followed by watching the high school boy's basketball team. The day ended with kids getting signatures and talking to their favorite players.
One of the best things that happened Friday was ALL elementary students and staff were treated to a Raider Krazies t-shirt thanks to Girl's Basketball Coach, Jason Phillips!!! Students were so excited to wear their very own ESC shirt to the game!! It was a great day to be a RAIDER! Thank you to all who made this day so special for our students!

Our High Five Friday guests today not only brought smiles, hugs and high fives, but they also delivered cookies to all students and staff in the building!! A BIG THANK YOU to the Lake View Men's Club for spending your morning with us, and providing a fun cookie for students to enjoy in the afternoon.
