CONGRATULATIONS East Sac County Class of 2024!!!

For our last High Five Friday of the 23-24 school year, we were happy to have representatives from the Wall Lake Fire Department greeting our students, sharing smiles, and giving high fives!!! Thank you for joining us and your service to the community!!!

Last Friday, East Sac County 2nd grade students went to the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha! In science the 2nd grade students have been learning about animal habitats and what animals and plants need to survive. It was a great experience for our students and a beautiful day to explore the zoo!!!

The East Sac County Summer Lunch Program is back!!! Residents in the East Sac County District who are 18 years old and younger may participate. See the flyer for more details!

Last night our East Sac County Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade had an awesome music concert and art show! Thank you to those who attended and those who sang and provided art work to share!!!

Congratulations to Parker Engel and Isaiah Aragon on qualifying for the Iowa State Track Meet in the 3200 m race. The men will run at 10:10 AM on Thursday, May 16th at Drake Stadium. Congratulations and GOOD LUCK!!!

In honor of Mother's Day on Sunday, our special guests for High Five Friday were our East Sac County Pk-6 Moms!!! Lots of kids were excited to see their Moms at school. We want to wish all Mothers a Happy Mother's Day and thank those who were able to be with us today!!!

As a part of our study of the farm, our East Sac County Preschoolers had a visit from some 2 and 4 legged friends this week. The students were able to get some up close interactions with pigs, cows/calves, sheep, goats, a pony, a turkey, chickens, kittens and puppies! None of this would have been possible without the support from parents, grandparents and community members who graciously volunteered to take time out of their busy day to bring in their animals. We appreciate your support of our preschool program!!

This is a reminder of our Youth Marketplace that will take place next week on May 14th at 5:30 PM.

Congratulations to East Sac County Students of the month for the month of April! Elementary students are recognized for consistently following Raider expectations, being kind, and putting forth their best effort. Tonight the ESC music department put on the Choir and Ukelele Spring Concert! Our 7th-12th graders sang and played in front of a packed gym. And they gave a great performance from all grades and groups!!
