Do you have a Preschool aged child? If so we would love for them to attend Preschool at East Sac County! This form is Pre-registration for the 2026-2027 Little Raiders school year. Your child must be the age of 4 by September 15, 2026 to attend Little Raiders Preschool at East Sac County CSD. A reminder that preschool for the 2026-2027 school year will be 1/2 day preschool, four days a week (Tuesday - Friday). If you have any questions, feel free to call Mrs. Halbur in the Office, 712-662-7200.

This spring Paris and Jillian will be attending a recognition event in Sioux City, Iowa for making the team.
They will spend the upcoming months fundraising for their 5 day camp where they will be practicing their routines, cheer and chants along with visiting the Children's hospital and other organized activities.
They will perform at the Shrine Bowl pre-game, during the game, and at half time at the July 25th Shrine Bowl.

East Sac County CSD is located in beautiful Northwest/North Central Iowa and comprised of Sac City, Lake View, Wall Lake, and Auburn. The PK-6 building is located in Sac City. The 7-12 building is located in Lake View. Our communities offer many recreational areas including Black Hawk Lake along with several thriving small businesses and restaurants. We are located right south of Hwy 20 and are 1 hour from Sioux City, 1 hour and 20 minutes from the Okoboji Great Lakes, and two hours from Des Moines, Cedar Falls, and Omaha. The successful candidate will be supported by the Elementary Principal, an Assistant Principal, Veteran Elementary Teachers from within the district, a mentoring program, the Superintendent, and the East Sac County Board of Education. Salary and benefits include a competitive starting wage based on degree and experience, IPERS, health insurance, and paid vacation.

Right before break, the ESC High School Child Development class visited our preschool classrooms! They read books to students and helped with snack to put the skills they’ve learned in class into action. All students, from 4 to 18 years of age, enjoyed their time together! Mrs. Erpelding, Mrs. Kies, and Mrs. Johnson are planning more events like this in the future!

East Sac County Families,
I want to make sure you're aware of an excellent opportunity for our parents and community members tomorrow evening, January 7th.
Joe Beckman will be presenting to our ESC community at 6:30 PM at the JH/HS, following his sessions with our students earlier that day. Students who are in 3rd grade or older are also welcome and encouraged to attend the Parent/Community presentation with their parents if they wish.
More information about the presentation can be found in the pictures and in the video message Joe recorded specifically for ESC.
In addition, a free meal will be served at 6:00 PM for those attending prior to the presentation.
The topics Joe will address are meaningful, and I can confidently say he is an outstanding presenter for both students and adults. He previously spoke to our students in 2024, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
We are grateful to the local organizations whose generosity made Joe's presentations and the meal possible: Swing Fore the Kids, ESC PTO, Sac Education Foundation, and the Lake View Black Hawk Men's Club.
