East Sac County Community Schools is seeking qualified applicants to serve as a full time Middle School ELA/Reading Teacher for the 2024-25 school year. We are back from break and learning is taking place!!! Recently some 6th graders were working on figuring out chemical reactions using bath bombs. Students are investigating different recipes of bath bombs and their reactions to water to compare to a store bought bath bomb. Once again, Science can be FUN!!!

This morning our East Sac County PK-6 graders were greeted by employees from Loring Hospital. Lots of high fives and morning greetings were given. Students were excited to see many familiar faces. Thank you for supporting our East Sac County School District and our community!
Today and tomorrow there will be a dress sale at the East Sac Jr/Sr High School. Around 200 dresses to choose from, come on down to the school from 4-6pm today or stop by tomorrow from 9am-Noon.

I'm sure you are aware by now, there has been a school violence incident this morning at Perry High School, located in Perry Iowa. While we do not know all of the details at this time, our thoughts are with the students, staff, and families of Perry.
We want our families and students to know that East Sac County Schools are regularly in contact with our local law enforcement officials to ensure our continued safety. The incident in Perry is reported to be isolated, and there is no current danger to the public. Safety of our students, educators, and staff is our top priority.
Our school counselors are available for any students who may need to ask questions or discuss today's unfortunate act of violence.
As we continue to work through and grieve today's events, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s school building if you have any questions or concerns. We will do our best to support those who need extra help during this time.
