Here at the start of summer, our Raider Softball and Baseball seasons are now in full swing!! Tonight we hosted Emmetsburg for both Softball and Baseball. Our girls won 12-9! Jamie Pierce had a lead off solo HR against E’Hawks, and the Raiders controlled the game from there. The girls have now won 2 in a row after beating Cherokee last week! The boys lost a close one today but they were coming off of a 6 run bottom of the 7th comeback win in their last game against Manson last Friday!! Both squads still have most of their season ahead of them, be sure to check the schedules and come out and support our teams this summer!

Although school is over for the year, we still have a few more posts from the school year we would like to share. Mrs.Bruce’s preschool class studied pets. Students learned that some pets have jobs. Last Tuesday the class was visited by two pets who have jobs with the police force. Archie is a golden retriever and is learning how to be a therapy dog. Jimbo is a black lab who is learning how to sniff out narcotics. The kids enjoyed their visit from the officers and their dogs!!!
