Last Friday before Spring Break, our elementary students reached their 3rd quarter PBIS goal earning them an afternoon of fun! All students packed the gym to watch their very own high school basketball experience. The afternoon started off with cheerleaders leading the students in cheers, listening to the pep band, watching the high school girl's basketball team play, a performance by the drill team followed by watching the high school boy's basketball team. The day ended with kids getting signatures and talking to their favorite players. One of the best things that happened Friday was ALL elementary students and staff were treated to a Raider Krazies t-shirt thanks to Girl's Basketball Coach, Jason Phillips!!! Students were so excited to wear their very own ESC shirt to the game!! It was a great day to be a RAIDER! Thank you to all who made this day so special for our students!

Mrs. Buse and Ms. Wood took 14 juniors to the BVU Junior Science Day. Kids were able to dive into various science fields such as math, biomedical science, computer science, exercise science, and physics. Not only did kids hear from current students and staff, but they were able to participate in hands-on activities with some groups dissecting an eye, building bridges, and testing oxygen levels.

Mr. McCullough's shop class made the ESC preschoolers whisper phones out of some pvc piping. The little Raiders use these in the classroom for phonemic awareness lessons. The preschoolers loved having the "big kids" visit from the high school!!!
